Match Report

Jorge Jesus' side saw their 16-game winning streak in the league brought to an abrupt end at Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium, meaning second-place Al-Hilal can close the gap to two points with victory over Al-Khaleej on Tuesday.

Al-Nassr were given an early scare when Bento denied Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat in the 11th minute. However, they failed to heed that warning and fell behind midway through the first half, as Al-Shamat turned in Christopher Bonsu Baah's cross.

Cristiano Ronaldo hit the crossbar at the other end shortly before the visitors equalised on 39 minutes; Joao Felix sweeping a wonderful first-time effort into the top corner from Marcelo Brozovic's low centre.

However, Brozovic was punished after he was caught in possession 10 minutes into the second half, with Julian Quinones cutting the ball back for Musab Al-Juwayr to finish.

Further sloppiness from Al-Nassr gifted Brendan Rodgers' side a match-clinching third goal 12 minutes from time, as Quinones swept home after they failed to deal with a ball into the box and thoroughly dent Al-Nassr's title charge.

Al-Nassr's run of 16 straight wins came to a sudden halt following a disappointing display, during which they registered just two shots on target with an expected goals (xG) total of 0.6, compared to their opponents' 2.17.

Saudi Pro League top scorer Quinones made another invaluable contribution for Al-Qadsiah, teeing up Al-Juwayr before netting his 29th goal of the season to seal maximum points.

The Mexico international registered a joint-game-high of four shots (level with Ronaldo), while he led the way outright for touches in the opposing box (nine), shots inside the box (four) and attempts on target (three).
