Alba still out of Spain squad to face England with Koke, Bartra & Paco in

  /  arrowhead

Even after such an impressive performance against Tottenham, Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba still doesn't make Luis Enrique's Spain squad.

Luis Enrique has called Marc Bartra, Jonny Castro, Paco Alcacer, Koke and Alvaro Morata into his Spain squad for the games against Wales and England.

La Roja face play Wales in a friendly in Cardiff on October 10th followed by the second game of the Nations League when England travel to Seville to face Spain on Monday October 15.

There are recalls for Koke, Alcácer and Betis', Bartra whilst Wolves defender Jonny Otto gets his first ever international team call-up. The Spanish squad is currently plagued with injury preventing  the likes of Carvajal, Sergi Roberto, Íñigo Martínez and Isco from forming part of the 23-man-squad. Once again the stand-out omissions are Barcelona defender Jordi Alba and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

Full 23-man squad:

Goalkeepers: Kepa, Pau, De Gea;

Defenders: Gayá, Marcos Alonso, Albiol, Nacho, Ramos, Bartra, Azpilicueta, Jonny;

Midfielders: Busquets; Rodri, Koke, Ceballos, Thiago, Saúl;

Forwards: Asensio, Morata, Rodrigo, Suso, Iago Aspas, Paco
