Allegri: AC Milan must learn from Juventus draw

AC Milan coach Max Allegri says they'll take the point earned from Juventus on Sunday.

Milan held Juve to a 0-0 draw at the Allianz stadium last night.

Allegri said afterwards: "The positive thing is that we didn't concede. The team played a good game, they read the game well when they didn't have any space, because Juve closed down well.

"In the second half, the team improved  a lot. It's positive for us to have taken a point, but we have to come out angry because when we realize we have the opponent in our hands, we have to kill them sportingly.

"We're not in a good place at all; we're growing, we have to grow in those moments. I thank the lads for what they did in those moments."

The former Juve coach also stated: "When I arrived at the stadium, I was excited. I was happy to see the people I've celebrated and lost with over the past eight years.

"The fans welcomed me warmly, I'm happy. Now it's the break, there's still room for improvement."

Allegri added, "Juve is a great team, they're one point behind, they haven't lost yet. These are important big matches. For Milan, it's important to arrive in March in the best possible condition to be in the top four.  The league is tough, we need consistency."
