Amad Diallo has urged Alejandro Garnacho to stay at Manchester United next season despite his fiery dispute with manager Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer and was brutally warned by Amorim that he needs to ‘pray’ he can find a new club in front of team-mates.
Tensions skyrocketed after the Argentine hit out at his boss for benching him in their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham last Wednesday.
United went on to lose 1-0, with Garnacho only featuring for 20 minutes from bench and the 20-year-old failed to hide his frustration with Amorim as he admitted it had been a 's***' season for the club.
His agent brother then added fuel to the fire by posting on Instagram that the winger had been 'thrown under the bus' by the Portuguese boss.
Despite a turbulent week, Garnacho featured for United in their humiliating post-season friendly defeat to exhibition side ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of their next friendly, Amad leapt to Garnacho's defence, claiming the dispute is not an issue for the team.
The Ivorian said: 'Alejandro is a really good player and we need good players in the team. I know Garna really well, so I hope to have Garna next season.
'It is not really a big issue for the team. Everything is good now.'
Garnacho was omitted from United's squad for their final game of the season against Villa and it would represent a remarkable u-turn if he were to remain at the club.
His partner appeared to confirm his departure with a cryptic two-word message to fans on social media just hours before the Villa encounter.
She posted a picture of a baby-sized United kit alongside the words 'last match', accompanied by a tearful emoji and a heart on Instagram.
A sale would represent pure profit under financial fair play rules, as the winger came through the club's academy system.

Following the loss, Amorim said: 'I always feel guilty of the performance of the team since I am here in the first game. I feel guilty, then the boos from the fans, maybe it is something we need because every game that we lost in the Premier League, they were always there.
'I felt when we finished every time the supporters were with us. Let's see for next season. We should perform better. We were slow, we don't have it in us to win every exercise in training, and every game, the important thing is we had no injuries.'
He added: 'We don't have it in us not to choke in every exercise, in every game, that is what happened.
Meanwhile, Diallo was the target of serious personal abuse from a Manchester United fan in Malaysia, Mail Sport can reveal.
A photo of the star holding his middle finger at fans circulated online after United's loss on Wednesday.
There had been some suggestions online that it was linked to his name and desire for people not use ‘Diallo’ as a point of reference.
But it’s understood that the real reason behind Amad’s emotional reaction was down to serious personal abuse sent in his direction.
