Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro have been declared fit again for Manchester United’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night as head coach Ruben Amorim delivered a positive injury update.

Maguire has missed the last four matches since he was injured in the FA Cup exit at the hands of Fulham, while Yoro has been sidelined since he went off at half-time of the Premier League draw at home to Arsenal two games ago.

United’s defence will be further strengthened by the return of Patrick Dorgu for the trip to the City Ground with the club’s January signing available again after a three-match domestic suspension.

Amorim confirmed that Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo and Jonny Evans could be back in action soon, while Ayden Heaven will play again this season after he was carried off at Leicester in the last game before the international break.

‘Ayden is recovering. It was not so serious,’ said Amorim. ‘He’s recovering. He’s not ready to play but he’s going to return this season, for sure.

‘Maguire and Yoro are ready to go for the game. Luke is not ready yet. We are starting doing some drills with the team, but we are building Luke.

'Mason Mount is feeling better but he was already on the bench the last game. Kobbie is almost returning but he is not ready for this game. Jonny Evans is recovering, Ayden is recovering.’
