Amorim said on Sir Ratcliffe's criticism, Ugarte and Man Utd injuries

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed Manuel Ugarte is in contention to return from injury against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford tomorrow night.

The Uruguayan has missed each of the last two games with a small injury problem, last featuring against Fulham in the FA Cup on March 2. He was on show at the open training session the club hosted on Wednesday morning.

Mason Mount was also present in the open training session, appearing with the main group for the first time since suffering an injury against Manchester City in December, but the visit of Sociedad will come too soon for the former Chelsea midfielder. Leny Yoro will also miss out against Sociedad after being forced off against Arsenal at half-time at the weekend.

Amorim also highlighted the importance of the Europa League in keeping United's season alive. The club currently sits 14th in the Premier League table and is out of both domestic cup competitions, meaning they need to win the Europa League to salvage something from their campaign.
