Arsenal and Tottenham are in the race to sign a Bayern Munich star, according to a report.

The player has expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, as his playing time has withered under Vincent Kompany, making just 11 starts in the league this season.

The 28-year-old joined Bayern on loan in 2015, before his move was made permanent in 2017, and has made 329 appearances in red.

Now, 19 trophies later, Kingsley Coman is eyeing a move away from Munich, as per Sky Sports Germany.

While multiple clubs are vying for the winger's signature, Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be the frontrunners in England.

Elsewhere, Saudi Arabian clubs are taking Coman's situation seriously and are already planning to send representatives to Munich to negotiate.

Leroy Sane's contract extension has paved the way for Coman's exit. The former Man City star has been Kompany's preferred option at left wing, while Michael Olise starts on the right for Bayern.

Coman has averaged just 45 minutes per game in the Bundesliga and is seemingly targeting more regular playing time.

Tottenham are interested in Coman but are currently in a waiting position due to his high salary demands.

In January, it was reported that Arsenal were offered Coman, but the club were unsure he was worth the undisclosed fee that Bayern valued him at.

Coman began his career at PSG's academy but made just two appearances for the first team between 2012 and 2014.

He bounced between PSG B and their senior squad for some time before securing a move to Juventus.

However, Coman once again struggled for game time in Serie A
