David Luiz's first Arsenal goal secured a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium and lifted the Gunners to third in the Premier League.
The Brazilian defender's ninth-minute header settled a low-key contest on Sunday as Unai Emery's men extended their undefeated streak to eight games in all competitions.
Callum Wilson failed to track the centre-back for the winner and later squandered a rare, clear-cut opening for an equaliser.

Callum Wilson is bundled over by Ceballos near the wing, and Bournemouth have a chance with this free-kick. Rico’s delivery is excellent, but Solanke’s header goes well wide from seven yards out.

Ceballos finds the onrushing Chambers on the opposite wing with a lovely dinked ball, but the Arsenal right-back’s attempt at a volley is poor and sails well wide of Ramsdale’s goal.

Excellent hold-up play by Solanke who finds Callum Wilson near the edge of the box, and the latter weaves his way through the Gunners’ defence and rounds Leno only for his cut-back to find no teammates and Chambers clears the danger away!
Good stuff from the Cherries, who have started the second half very impressively.

Despite some good pressure from the substitute Willock, Lerma still manages to shoot from distance only for the Cherries midfielder’s effort to go high and wide.
