An Arsenal star has been ruled out of his side's Champions League trip to Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The Gunners took a sensational 3-0 lead in the quarter-final tie last week, courtesy of two Declan Rice free-kick goals and a cherry on top from Mikel Merino.
Victory in the second leg would secure Arsenal's first appearance in the Champions League semi-finals since 2009 in their return to the competition after an eight-year hiatus.
Arsenal will certainly be without long-term absentees Gabriel Jesus, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel, Riccardo Calafiori and Kai Havertz for their travels to the Spanish capital.
And now, it is understood that Mikel Arteta's side could also miss veteran midfielder Jorginho.
The Italian was substituted while clutching his shoulders in the latter stages of Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday.
Thomas Partey is also a doubt for Arsenal's clash with Madrid after picking up an unspecified knock against Brentford.
The midfielder, who opened the scoring for the Gunners with a second-half strike, was substituted off on 69 minutes.
The 31-year-old is currently being assessed ahead of Wednesday's game and Arsenal are hopeful that he will be in contention.
'He (Partey) felt something so we didn't want to take any risks,' said Mikel Arteta on Saturday.
When asked if Partey will be fit for Wednesday, Arteta added: 'We don't know, I haven't spoken to the doctors yet. So they will check him now and see how he is.'
In light of Arsenal's short-handed midfield, Arteta is likely to opt for a trio of Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Merino in the middle of the park.
The latter has often put a shift in up front for the Gunners lately, but may be usurped by Leandro Trossard and drop back into his natural role in central midfield to cover for his injured team-mates.
Meanwhile Madrid will be without Eduardo Camavinga, who picked up a late red card in the first leg. Also absent due to injuries are the defensive trio of Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao.
