Cedric Soares has picked Cristiano Ronaldo at the head of a five-a-side team of Portuguese stars he has played with.
The Arsenal fullback has played 34 times for Portugal since his debut eight years ago and was part of their Euros-winning squad in 2016.
He has also had an impressive Premier League career, making over 100 appearances for Southampton before moving to the Emirates in 2020.
Speaking on Instagram, Soares praised Ronaldo's 'immense quality' and 'goalscoring ability' as he placed him up-front in a star-studded team.
The 31-year-old went with Wolves' Rui Patricio in goal, pointing to the 'quality he has' and the years they spent playing together at Sporting Lisbon.
He also picked Joao Moutinho in defence for his 'decision making' and ability in tight spaces, before adding Ricardo Quaresma and former Manchester United winger Nani, who he praised as 'the complete player.'
It makes for quite a team, albeit one entirely lacking in defenders. Cedric didn't see this as an issue, arguing: 'We'll always be in possession so won't need to defend!'
After a turbulent few months for Ronaldo, the striker will be glad to have landed a starting birth somewhere.
The 37-year-old has recently trained with his former club Real Madrid following his explosive departure from Manchester United, though his future still appears undecided.
