Arsenal transfer news: The Gunners have been tipped to compete at the top of the Premier League table next season but may have to make more signings in the transfer window

Arsenal's transfer business this summer has ticked off a number of boxes on Edu Gaspar's checklist.

Whilst the rest of the Premier League are investing heavily in their squad in another multi-million pound transfer window in England, Arsenal simply cannot afford to rest on their laurels. Stan Kroenke has already paid £200million, so attention will now turns to selling fringe players. Something that is proving difficult.

According to Transfermarkt.com, these 10 players are valued at €127million (£109million). However, Arsenal will struggle to recoup that. And in their history, the club have struggled to successfully sell players for big money.

They came close to the figure in 2021, but Alex Song's £15million move to Barcelona did not surpass the threshold.

Arsenal spent over £120million on Tierney, Pepe, Tavares and Lokonga. Amid speculation that Pepe could leave on a free, it's unlikely that they won't allow any of the aforementioned players to leave on the cheap.

If the Gunners are going to find themselves in another Premier League title race, raising funds to make further signings must be the priority in the market between now and September 1.
