Mesut Ozil has launched his own clothing brand, as he looks to other ventures in the wake of his ongoing exile from Mikel Arteta's Arsenal squad.

The Gunners midfielder was left out of the Spaniard's Premier League squad, and is also not part of their Europa League team for the season.

It has seen the former Germany international turn his attentions to matters off the pitch, and his latest project has seen him unveil his line of leisurewear.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Ozil wrote: 'Excited to announce the launch of @m10streetwear, a contemporary brand producing relaxed & stylish clothing designed for everyday wear.

'I'm really happy to finally share this personal project with you all.'

Available to customers are a range of hoodies, t-shirts, caps and accessories - including backpacks, phone cases and waist bags.

The cost of hoodies on the site range from £37.99 to £39.99, while t-shirts cost either £19.99 or £18.99 depending on design.

There are also caps available, bearing the company's design logo, and the player's own name.

During his absence from the Arsenal squad, Ozil has turned his focus to his career off it, as well as looking at means of helping others.

The 32-year-old has joined an American venture capitalist fund, working as a strategic adviser for Class 5 Global.

He also sought to help out Arsenal mascot Gunnersaurus during the coronavirus crisis.

Ozil pledged to cover the wages of Jerry Quy when he was sacked last month by the club as they looked to cut costs, before it was revealed he was back at the club this week.
