Milan have officially completed the signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy.
Higuain, the 31-year-old striker of Juventus and Argentina national team, has agreed a one-year loan deal at Milan. The transfer fee is expected to be on loan for €18m, with the purchase option priced at €36m.
The 31-year-old forward started his career from Argentine club River Plate, before a transfer to Real Madrid in January 2007. He joined Napoli in 2013, and then in 2015–16 season, he scored 36 league goals, winning the top scorer title. As a result of his goal scoring exploits in Naples, Italian champions Juventus signed him for €90 million in 2016. He scored 24 goals and provided 6 assists in his debut season for Juventus, and he delivered 16 goals and 3 assists in the next year.
Higuain has been a international for Argentina since 2009, helping them to win second-place finishes at the 2014 World Cup, the 2015 Copa America and the Copa America Centenario in 2016.
