Dele Alli rescued a point for Tottenham with a late goal as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by rock-bottom Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Abdoulaye Doucoure had opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a crisp finish that looked to have given the Hornets the points.
But Spurs midfielder Alli, on his first league start of the season, capitalised on Ben Foster's failure to punch the ball away four minutes from full-time and squeezed home from a tight angle.

Deulofeu jinks into the penalty area from the right and Vertonghen goes to ground, taking the Watford player with him. Deulofeu begs for a penalty. The officials take a look and say no.

The South Korean picks up the ball on the right, runs at Watford's defence into the box, and smashes a shot off the bar back into play! Foster was stranded.

It looked like Alli might have handled the ball with his shoulder, but nope. There's a brief moment of confusion as the monitor in the ground initially shows 'no goal' until the ref clears things up - it has been allowed. What a VARce.
