Bellerin hints that he’s had trademark top knot chopped off

Hector Bellerin has hinted at a dramatic change after sharing a photo suggesting his trandemark top knot has been cut off.

The mysterious post shows a clump of hair on the floor, accompanied by emojis of scissors and a haircut, hinting at the removal of the iconic style.

The Arsenal right-back is currently out of action after suffering a knee problem against Chelsea in January.

He has clearly opted to make a big change as he recuperates from the injury, with the Spaniard's top knot becoming his trademark.

An anterior cruciate ligament injury to his left knee is likely to keep him out for around nine months.

However, Bellerin had been Arsenal's first-choice right-back this season before injury struck, making nine appearances in the Premier League and impressing under new boss Unai Emery.

Just 23, the Spaniard has already racked up 181 games and seven goals for the club he joined aged 16 from Barcelona in 2011.
