Chelsea have reportedly identified Wilfried Zaha and Jadon Sancho as potential replacements for Willian - with the Brazilian winger currently embroiled in a bizarre contract stand-off.
The Blues could move to bolster their options in wide positions with the future of Willian still firmly unclear, and the club have been alerted to Sancho's breakdown in relationships at Borussia Dortmund.
Crystal Palace star Zaha is also on Chelsea's shortlist as Willian's deal enters its final six months, and the 31-year-old claims he is yet to be offered fresh terms.
But The Telegraph believe that the London side are instead adamant that a new contract has been tabled for the former Barcelona target.
Willian's preference for a two-year deal could prove a problem, however, and Chelsea are typically reluctant to offer players aged 30 or over more than 12-month extensions.
Foreign clubs are currently able to approach the Brazilian, with both Ernesto Valverde's side and Juventus linked with a swoop.
Frank Lampard has recently admitted his desire for the Shakhtar Donetsk man to remain at Stamford Bridge, but the club are understood to have lined up a contingency plan in the event Willian chooses to leave.
Olivier Giroud and Pedro are also entering the latter stages of their contracts, and may be allowed to leave in January. And losing the two wideman could tempt Chelsea to provide further competition for Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
But Chelsea are still awaiting the result of their appeal against their transfer ban, which had been imposed by FIFA at the start of the season.
Despite his uncertain future in the capital, Willian had revealed he has no plans to speak to interested parties.
He said: ‘I don’t want to talk to (other clubs) because I have a contract until the end of the season.
‘I am a Chelsea player but I just want to say the club know what I want to do.'
