During Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Benfica, center back Raúl Asencio collided with teammate Eduardo Camavinga while contesting an aerial ball.
The force of the collision caused Asencio to sustain a neck injury, after which he was transported by ambulance to the hospital for examination.
At the post-match press conference, Real Madrid manager Álvaro Arbeloa stated that Asencio should be fine, and the player himself later posted an update on social media to reassure fans.
