Atletico Madrid have freshened up their options at right-back with Santiago Arias confirmed as the replacement for Sime Vrsaljko.
Atletico have moved to snap up Colombian defender Arias, who had been nearing a move to Napoli.
Arriving from PSV Eindhoven, he has put pen to paper on a four-year contract that contains an 80 million euro release clause.
Arias, who played for the Dutch side since his move from Sporting CP in 2013, is to compete with Juanfran for Diego Simeone's right-back berth next season.
“Atlético de Madrid and PSV have reached an agreement over the transfer of 26-year-old Colombian right-back Santiago Arias,” the Spanish club confirmed on their official website.
“He will join our club on a five-year deal.”
