Bakayoko's transfer history

  /  Multipurposeman

In the summer of 2017, Chelsea paid €40 million to Monaco to sign Tiemoué Bakayoko. After his first season in which he seldom convinced, the defensive midfielder was loaned out several times—this year he is once again headed to Milan.

According to various Italian media reports, the Blues and the Rossoneri have agreed on the financial details of a deal. Bakayoko will undergo a medical on Friday and then join Milan for a second time. The midfielder already spent the 2018/19 season at the club. The Frenchman has also been loaned to his former club Monaco and to Napoli.

Sky Italia has reported that Milan will pay €500,000 and then will have an option to make the transfer permanent for €20 million. Chelsea have not completely given up on their former top transfer. Bakayoko's contract, which was set to expire in 2022, will be renewed by one more year.
