Luka Modric has won the 2018 Ballon d'Or after gathering the most points from the 176 journalists who took part in the vote.
The award is given out each year by France Football and the magazine selected one journalist from each country to give their top five players for the calendar year.
Based on their rankings, each player earned six, four, three, two or one points and, once they were all counted, the Real Madrid midfielder came out on top.
Here is the list of how each country voted, with the name of the journalist selected for each country and their publication included.

France football should review the voting every year and not rehire the same journalists who do barbaric votes or put players just because they are from the same country. I see vows to Courtois, Kanté, Benzema, Bale, Ramos, Agüero, Alisson, Godín etc.

I go with the story of Tito Floren, let's see, one thing is to say that you do not agree with the result due to the voting system, but to think that Florentino influences almost 200 journalists around the world is already sickly . I think they vote for sympathy or affinity to one or the other, I doubt they are 100 x 100 impartial. As I have read before, these people do not see all the matches of all the teams and they let themselves be carried away by the final results of their teams or selections more than by the player himself.
