The Ballon d'Or rankings are being announced. However, netizens discovered that the official Ballon d'Or website had published articles prematurely revealing that Kane, Yamal, and Mbappé had won the award. The pages have since been taken down and now return 404 errors.
Some sharp-eyed netizens noticed that the article declaring Yamal the winner was published first and remained accessible the longest. The articles for Kane and Mbappé were removed more quickly and are now inaccessible.
