Former AC Milan and Inter striker Mario Balotelli says he's ready to return to football.
Off contract since leaving Genoa over the summer, Balotelli has linked with moves across the globe ever since.
Speaking at the Trento Sports Festival, the former Italy international stated: "I'm in a bit of a stalemate. I train several times a week on my own, and I'm feeling great physically. I've had offers from abroad, but I was hoping to find a team in Italy.
"I've had a few offers now, but I have to decide whether to sign immediately or wait until the January transfer window."
Balotelli also stated: "For me, the national team is a fundamental point. It's not an attack on anyone, but many times I see players playing for the national team without that desire to prove themselves, to defend the country's shirt, and I don't like it.
"When I was in the national team, I was proud to represent Italy, and that's something I miss.
"Was I the last centre forward to play in a World Cup? Yeah, they told me that."
