FC Barcelona has confirmed that the Barça Legends, led by coach Albert Ferrer, will face off against the Real Madrid Leyendas in Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 27, 2025. The match will take place at the iconic Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, which holds over 77,000 spectators, and is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM local time (3:00 PM in Barcelona).
The Barça Legends, coached by Albert Ferrer, will play in Jakarta on 27 September against the Real Madrid Leyendas. The match will kick-off at 8pm local time (3pm in Barcelona) at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, in the capital of Indonesia, with the capacity for over 77,000 spectators and the ground where the country’s national team plays its international matches. It has also hosted the 18th Asian Games in 2018, as well as concerts by international artists.
For the clash against Real Madrid, the Barça Legends will feature confirmed appearances by Carles Puyol and Rivaldo, and the rest of the squad will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Jakarta match will be the tenth meeting in history between the two legends teams and will take place just a few days after a double showdown between the blaugrana and madridistas in New Jersey and Florida, scheduled for 9 and 13 September, respectively.

The Barça Legends is a programme created in 2016, managed directly by the club, which aims to integrate former Barça players through a stable project of professional collaboration with the club. It contributes to the global promotion of the Barça brand by sharing the club’s values through its former stars. Since the launch of the Barça Legends, more than 80 players have taken part in at least one match with the team around the world.
