Barça concerned about Lamine: Deco had to mediate with Flick over a delay

According to Manu Carreño on Cadena SER's El Larguero, the German coach wasn't pleased with Deco's disavowal. He's concerned about Lamine's day-to-day life.

The turmoil is subsiding for Barcelona. After all the chaos with the Spanish national team due to various injuries to its players, an internal problem is now coming to light. Flick routinely punishes his players by not playing if they arrive late to training, matchdays, or the talks given by the German coach. This happened with Lamine on PSG day, but the Spanish winger did play in that match.

According to Manu Carreño on Cadena SER's El Larguero, Deco had to mediate with Flick to prevent Lamine from being benched that day. The German coach wanted to leave Lamine out of the match against PSG after the player arrived late to a team meeting, as he had previously done with some of his teammates: "Deco had to mediate so that Lamine could play. Flick didn't take this disavowal well, as he believes that if this punishment is for one, it should be for everyone."

The director of El Larguero also reveals that Barça is concerned about some situations in Lamine's life: "There's some concern about Lamine's day-to-day life. It's not alarming, but we don't like some of the things that have been happening with the player in recent months. We don't like the way he's been doing things and the life he's leading."
