According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are 'keen to offer Manchester United the chance to sign either Philippe Coutinho or Malcom' in their bid to prise Marcus Rashford to the Nou Camp.

The Spanish giants are planning for life without Luis Suarez as the influential striker enters his twilight years, and Rashford is among their top targets for the summer.

Mundo Deportivo report that, such is their desire to sign the England striker, they would be willing to offer Coutinho or Malcom as a bargaining chip.

It has been reported that United are 'very interested' in former Liverpool star Coutinho, while Malcom's style of play would fit in with United.

Coutinho in particular would be United's preferred offer, and it is believed that United have long-held ambitions of signing the Brazilian.

Mundo write that the United hierarchy have already contacted the player's agents to let them know that if he leaves Barcelona, they would be first in the queue.

The fact remains though, that Rashford will be extremely difficult to steal from United, with the Red Devils desperately keen to keep him at the club.

It is likely any potential move will be vetoed immediately, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - should he get the job as expected - will want to keep his biggest players going into next season.

Barcelona are also keeping tabs on Antoine Griezmann and Luka Jovic in their search for a long-term striker.
