Barcelona legend Xavi has dreams of one day becoming first-team manager of the club, his father has sensationally revealed.

The living legend is one of the most decorated players in the history of Barca, and has designs to one day lead the club from the technical area.
Xavi called time on his Barca career in 2015 after making over 500 appearances for the club, and his father Joaquim Hernandez has now revealed a return could one day be on the cards.
'His dream is to coach FC Barcelona one day but there's no need to rush things,' Hernandez said in a recent interview with Esports COPE.
'Xavi is very happy playing football and hasn't thought about retiring to become a coach yet.'
Barca are hoping to have found a replacement for Xavi with their recent acquisition of Brazilian midfielder Arthur, who has already drawn comparisons with the club icon.


The youngster was in possession with a 93.5% passing success rate on his debut recently as Barca took part in the International Champions Cup while Stateside.
'I don't like to compare players but he reminds me of Xavi,' said Rafinha following the fixture against Premier League side Tottenham.
'Mainly for the way he moves the ball. He's a great signing for the club.'
