Barcelona have reportedly turned down the chance to hand Dani Alves a return to the club.
The Brazilian right-back departed for Juventus in 2016 and is now set to leave Paris Saint-Germain, where he has spent the last two seasons.
According to RAC 1, Alves has eyed up a return to Barcelona and offered his services to return to the Catalan club.
But Mundo Deportivo claim Ernesto Valverde has no interest in taking up his offer and bringing back the experienced full-back to bolster his squad.
Alves is currently in Copa America action and got on the scoresheet as Brazil thrashed Peru 5-0 in their final group game.
A new challenge is on the horizon, as he confirmed he will enter the "next chapter" of his glittering career in a social media post this week.
Manchester City have previously been linked with a move for Alves, reuniting him with former manager Pep Guardiola and handing him his first taste of the Premier League.
