Barcelona appear determined to bring in a left winger still, despite missing out on Nico Williams and bringing in Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig. It does look as if they will consider lower cost alternatives though.
After Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman was linked with a loan move to Montjuic, Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has emerged as a potential option. Thiago Motta has decided that Chiesa is not part of his plans, and with just a year left on his deal, he is likely to be available on a cut-price deal.
As per Gianluca di Marzio, Barcelona have now opened talks with his agent Fali Ramadani over a potential deal. Sport have also reported that any deal for Chiesa would cost at most €14m, while he has a gross salary of €12m (€6m net).
