Barcelona President Bartomeu claims they know that Neymar wants to leave PSG, but they also know that PSG do not want him to go.
Neymar has confirmed he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain, two years after leaving Barcelona in a world record €220million transfer.
At a press conference held by Barca President on Friday, Bartomeu claims "we know that Neymar wants to leave PSG, but we also know that PSG do not want him to go. So there is no case."
"Dembele is young, talented, offers something different. I consider him better than Neymar. He has so much room to grow and we want him to do it here. Coutinho and Dembele are fundamental for the coach."
Bartomeu also explains Mestre's resignation from his position as vice-president of Barcelona, he insists that "Mestre's departure has nothing to do with Neymar."
"Mestre explained me two days ago, while having dinner together, that for several reasons he preferred not to continue."
"I did not tell or ask Mestre to continue, I understood his reasons. Throughout these nice years that we have been in the office, many directors have been resigning. There is no crisis."
