Barcelona can move to within four points of LaLiga Santander leaders Atletico Madrid on Monday night, but in order to do so they will have to beat Huesca at the Camp Nou.
Los Colchoneros slipped up on Saturday night as they could only draw 0-0 away at Getafe, which has opened the door for the Blaugrana to capitalise and cut the gap at the top.
However, Pacheta's Huesca are in need of a victory - as surprising as it would be - in order to try and claw their way out of the bottom three, as they currently in 20th position, four points off 17th-placed Elche.
Ronald Koeman said a couple of months ago that this may well end up being a trophyless season for Barcelona, even though he would then go back on this by recognising that the Copa del Rey is a realistic possible, but now it seems as though the league title is too.
Despite everything that has gone at Barcelona in the last few months, both on and off the pitch, they have managed to go on a 16-game unbeaten run in LaLiga Santander, winning 13 and drawing three. Atletico, meanwhile, have dropped nine points in their last six games.
There is another reason for the Catalans to be optimistic and that is the return of Ronald Araujo, who came back for the league meeting away at Sevilla a couple of weeks ago before reaggravating his ankle injury in that same game.
Huesca reaction
Pacheta will be in the dugout at the Camp Nou for the first time on Monday night, while his record since replacing Michel Sanchez in January has been mixed: two wins, two draws and four defeats.
Huesca have never beaten Barcelona, but LaLiga Santander's bottom club have nothing to lose, so they will have to show the competitiveness that has been evident throughout the entire campaign.
On Monday night, Pacheta could bring Pedro Mosquera back into midfield after two months out, while former Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez has been included in the matchday squad.
