The January transfer window closed with a flurry of business at Barcelona although none of it will have an immediate effect on the first team.
Barça announced a €31 million deal for the 'New Cristiano Ronaldo' on Friday, SC Braga's Francisco Trincao, who will join the club in the summer.
Trincao, 20, has agreed to a contract until 2025 and his release clause has been set at €500m. Manchester City and Chelsea were also interested.
The Portugal youngster was not the only signing announced by Barça on Friday. They also confirmed a deal for Brazilian midfielder Matheus Fernandes, who will join from Palmeiras in the summer for an initial €7m. In the meantime, he will play for Real Valladolid on loan.
Elsewhere, midfielder Matheus Pereira and striker Rey Manaj have joined Barça's B team, although the latter, a striker, has already trained with the first team.
The signings of Pereira and Trincao were linked to other deals. Pereira arrived on loan from Juventus, with Alejandro Marques moving the other way for €8m. Meanwhile, Abel Ruiz has joined Braga, where he will play with Trincao between now and the summer.
Other outgoings this month included Carles Aleña (Real Betis, loan), Jean-Clair Todibo (Schalke, loan with buy option), Moussa Wague (Nice, initial loan), Carles Perez (Roma, loan with buy option) and Mike Van Beijnen (Glençlerbirligi).
