Today saw England legend and former PSG midfielder David Beckham pay a visit to the Camp des Loges training ground to meet Christophe Galtier’s squad. Meeting with several players and posing with a ‘Beckham 32′ shirt, the Englishman’s visit was covered by PSG’s social media channels.
The former PSG man posed with the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Marquinhos, Lionel Messi, and Marco Veratti for photos. The visit also included a reunion with defender Sergio Ramos – who shared several seasons with the 47-year old at Real Madrid.
Beckham signed for PSG in 2013 on a five month contract, donating his entire salary to a children’s charity in Paris. He made 14 appearances for Les Parisiens, including two assists and two Champions League appearances before eventually retiring for good from the game.
Since retiring Beckham has moved into entrepreneurism, becoming a major stakeholder in MLS side Inter Miami – who have showed an ambitious interest in recruiting Lionel Messi, who is hesitating over signing a new contract in the French capital.
