Ben Chilwell presented basketball star Kevin Durant with a Chelsea shirt during the club's tour of the United States.
Chelsea are currently in the USA as part of their pre-season tour and are taking on Fulham in the Premier League Summer Series.
Durant was given a new Chelsea home shirt with his name and the No 35 - which he wears for the Phoenix Suns - on the back.
Durant has an interest in football, with his investment company Thirty Five Ventures (which he founded along with business partner Rich Kleiman) having invested in MLS club Philadelphia Union in 2020. They also invested in women's club NJ/NY Gotham FC last year.
Chelsea have already played three games in the USA, winning 5-0 against Wrexham and 4-3 against Brighton prior to drawing 1-1 with Newcastle.
After the clash with Fulham, Mauricio Pochettino's side have one more game left of their tour as they take on Borussia Dortmund in Chicago.
Chelsea have made four signings so far in the summer transfer window, bringing in Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Diego Moreira and Angelo Gabriel.
The Blues get their new Premier League campaign underway on August 13 when they host Liverpool.
