"Yes, I confirm that there is a contract waiting for Bernardo Silva. And I very much want to bring Bernardo already in January. He personifies everything I want for Benfica. Identity, winning culture, and he is a great Benfica fan. And I can guarantee you that we're not going to stop here", clarified the leader of the Benfica Above All list.
As journalist Pedro Sousa anticipated on Canal Now and A BOLA confirmed, João Noronha Lopes has a contract waiting to transfer Bernardo Silva if he wins the elections for the social bodies of the eagles. He will try to convince Manchester City to release the player in January, with the English club receiving some money, or, alternatively, wait for Bernardo Silva until summer, when the 31-year-old Portuguese international midfielder's contract expires.
