According to AS, Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva recalled the classic 2023 Champions League semi-final clash against Real Madrid in an interview with The Athletic, stating that the team's early pressing made Real Madrid unable to "complete even three or four passes," and that the 4-0 victory was one of his fondest memories at the club.

Bernardo Silva said that after seeing photos of the goal celebrations from that match, he immediately remembered it, saying: "That was the Real Madrid game." He recalled it was the second leg of the Champions League semi-final in May 2023, "If I could choose one game, one moment to relive... the stadium was on fire, the atmosphere was amazing. For me personally, that game is probably one of my best memories at the club."
He further explained the flow of the game that night: "From the way we started the game, from the way we attacked them, they couldn't even make three or four passes. To create that feeling against a team like Real Madrid, who were then the kings of Europe, to do that to them at home and win 4-0, it was an incredible night for us." In that match, Manchester City defeated Real Madrid 4-0 to advance to the Champions League final, with Bernardo Silva scoring a brace, and the other two goals coming from Akanji and Julián Álvarez.
Bernardo Silva added: "We finally achieved that long-desired dream, after so many setbacks. Like the World Cup, winning the Champions League is the pinnacle."
The report noted that Bernardo Silva has two more Premier League matches before his departure, and will also play in the FA Cup final against Chelsea this Saturday. As for his next destination, it remains uncertain, but what is certain is that his experience at Manchester City will be remembered for many years.
