Joachim Low's men are in a transitional period and we think the visitors can trouble them with their attacking prowess when they meet in Wolfsburg
Germany face Serbia in a friendly at the Volkswagen Arena on Wednesday evening with Joachim Low's side hoping for a positive result in Wolfsburg.
The 2014 World Cup winners had a disappointing showing defending their title in Russia and were relegated from their Nations League group, so will be aiming to improve when they begin qualifying for Euro 2020 on Sunday.
Serbia, for their part, finished top of their Nations League group with four wins and two draws and are unbeaten since last summer's World Cup.
Germany have won six of their last nine home friendlies and another win is offered at 2/5 (1.40) with 888Sport. Serbia won the previous meeting between these two sides at the 2010 World Cup and Mladen Krstajic's men can be backed at 13/2 (7.50) and the draw at 77/20 (4.85) .
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan returns to the Germany squad for the first time since September. Low has confirmed that Manuel Neuer will remain his first-choice goalkeeper but dispensed with Mats Hummels, Thomas Muller and Jerome Boateng.
Serbia have four Bundesliga players in the squad, with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic the most high-profile. The 21-year-old is the second-top scorer in the German top flight and could come into the starting eleven at the expense of Aleksandar Mitrovic.
This is a game that Germany would expect to win, but there could be an angle in backing the visitors to get on the scoresheet.
Serbia were in strong scoring form, albeit in a weak Nations League group, and boast plenty of players who can potentially cause Germany some problems.
Jovic and Mitrovic are good enough to trouble Low's uncharacteristically chaotic defence, while Dusan Tadic has been excellent for Ajax recently and, alongside Adem Ljajic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, can provide goal threats from slightly deeper.
This is a Serbia side with plenty of attacking potential and they can surely at least score a goal against a German outfit that has kept just two clean sheets in their last 14 games.
Serbia are offered at 7/10 (1.70) to score over 0.5 goals which looks extremely appealing, while both teams to score is offered at a healthy 91/100 (1.91) .
