Manchester United lost some ground in the Premier League top-four race as Bournemouth twice came from behind to snatch a point in a 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium.

Match Report
It was a dramatic second half, with Bruno Fernandes's penalty being cancelled out by Ryan Christie before Junior Kroupi's spot-kick secured a point after James Hill's own goal, with Harry Maguire also shown a straight red card amid the chaos.
Both goalkeepers starred in a goalless first half as Djordje Petrovic made four saves, including two brilliant stops to deny Amad Diallo and Fernandes.
Senne Lammens, meanwhile, kept out a low drive from Rayan as the Cherries threatened on the counter.
Fernandes put United ahead just after the hour mark following Alex Jimenez's foul on Matheus Cunha, while the Red Devils felt they should have had another penalty when Amad was pushed to the ground by Adrien Truffert.
Bournemouth went up the other end immediately after that incident and Christie then scored from the edge of the box, though United quickly regained their lead thanks to Hill's own goal from Fernandes' corner.
Second-half substitute Kroupi then rescued a fifth straight draw for Andoni Iraola's side from 12 yards after Maguire brought Evanilson down in the box, leading to a red card for the Red Devils defender for the denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
Data Debrief: Teenage dream for Kroupi
There was little to separate the two sides, with Bournemouth producing 1.57 expected goals (xG) from 16 shots to United's 1.77 from 14 attempts, though Michael Carrick may be disappointed with the referee's inconsistencies.
This was the first Premier League game to see at least one penalty scored, an own goal scored, and a red card brandished since Fulham versus Aston Villa in October 2022.
Nevertheless, Bournemouth are now unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games (W4 D7), equalling their longest streak without defeat in the top-flight (also between November 2024 and January 2025).
Kroupi became the first teenager to score a Premier League penalty against United and the fourth teen to net home and away against the Red Devils in a campaign after Nicolas Anelka in 1998-99, Jermain Defoe in 2001-02 and Matty Longstaff in 2019-20.
