Real Madrid have confirmed that Brahim Diaz is back at the club after spending three years on loan at AC Milan.
The midfielder has signed a new contract at Real and will be part of Carlo Ancelotti's squad for next season.
Real tweeted a picture of Diaz along with the hashtag #BrahimIsBack.
Diaz's new deal is set to run until the summer of 2027 and his presentation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, as stated on Real's official website.
During his time at Milan, Diaz made 124 appearances and scored 18 goals, while he provided 15 assists. He won the Serie A title in the 2021-22 campaign and helped Milan to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League this season.
Prior to that, Diaz had made 21 appearances for Real, whom he joined in 2018.
Diaz made the breakthrough into senior football while he was at Manchester City, playing 15 times and scoring twice.
In 2021 Diaz scored on his only senior appearance for Spain so far, which came against Lithuania.
Diaz will now hope that he can make a significant contribution for Real, who are also set to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
Real brought in defender Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, who was previously at the club as a youth player.
