Bremen's senator of home affairs, Ulrich Mäurer, has decided to cancel the upcoming home game against Leverkusen.

The reason for the cancellation of the game of the 26th Bundesliga match day on Monday is that around 2,000 to 3,000 fans can be expected around the game in front of WESERSTADION, Bremen Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte said at a Senate press conference.
At the beginning of the week, the state of Bremen had already banned meetings with more than 1,000 people due to the spreading coronavirus. Following the decision, the Senator for home affairs decided to cancel the game.
