Official news, Brentford signed Burnley striker Jayden Antony. The transfer fee is reportedly £17 million plus £3 million in add-ons.

Brentford officially announced that the club has completed the permanent signing of Jayden Antony from Burnley for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract, with the club having an option to extend for a further year.

As an attacker who has already proven himself in the Premier League, Jayden Antony has made 70 appearances in the Premier League to date, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists.

Born in Hackney, London, Jayden Antony spent 10 years in the Arsenal academy before joining AFC Bournemouth's youth team. He joined AFC Bournemouth after a successful trial.

In the second half of the 2019/20 season, he was loaned to Weymouth of the National League South, experiencing senior team football for the first time.

Antony then returned to AFC Bournemouth and made his first-team debut in December 2020 against Preston, providing an assist, although his team ultimately lost 2-3.

In the 2023/24 season, Antony was loaned to Leeds United. Leeds United failed to secure automatic promotion, finishing third in the Championship, and missed out on promotion after a 0-1 defeat to Southampton in the Championship Play-off Final at Wembley Stadium.

The following season, he again joined Burnley on loan and had an excellent performance. He was directly involved in 15 goals in 43 appearances, helping Burnley finish second in the Championship with 100 points, only behind Leeds United on goal difference, achieving his second career promotion to the Premier League.

In May 2025, the loan move was made permanent. Last season, he missed only 1 Premier League match for Burnley, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists, including one against Brentford at Turf Moor in February.
