According to a report from L’Équipe, Brighton and Hove Albion are in talks with Arkema Premier League side FC Nantes over the signing of France international Kelly Gago (25).
Gago only joined Nantes this summer after shining in Italy with UC Sampdoria and then with Parma. Her form there earned her a move back to France, where she joined Nantes, signing a one-year deal with the Breton side, participating in the Arkema Premier League for the first time in their history this season.
Her performances with Les Canaris have recently earned her a call-up to the France national team. In two appearances for Les Bleues, Gago has on goal, which came in a friendly win over Switzerland. She is now drawing interest from Brighton and Hove Albion, and according to L’Équipe, talks between the two sides regarding a transfer have begun. These talks over the transfer of the France international are ongoing.
