Ronaldo tells lookalike fan he is 'very UGLY' in savage putdown before game

Cristiano Ronaldo awkwardly told a lookalike fan he was 'very ugly' prior to a game between the forward's Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab.

Al-Nassr are pushing to finish in the AFC Champions League spots for next season, but are in danger of missing out after they dropped points at home to Al-Shabab - despite Ronaldo scoring an impressive goal.

They had failed to win their last two matches, and fell short again on Friday night as they threw away a lead on home turf.

After Abderrazak Hamdallah had opened the scoring from the penalty spot, Ayman Yahya equalised for Ronaldo and Co, with the likes of Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic also starting for the side.

Ronaldo then netted from a tight angle from a Mane pass to put his side ahead, but defender Mohammed Al Shwirekh netted just after the hour mark to again square things up, and that was how it ended.

It was off the field, however, that caught the attention, when Ronaldo was involved in an altercation with a lookalike fan, when he judged his looks.

A fan was seen stood in the fans, wearing a Portugal top and with slicked-back black hair, folding his arms.

As Ronaldo warmed up, he appeared to notice the fan in front of him, looking in his direction as he continued to run pre-game.

Almost instantly, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner aimed an apparent light-hearted dig his way, saying: 'Bro, you don't look like me.'

He continued: 'You don't look like me, you are very ugly.'

The lookalike appeared to shout back in Ronaldo's direction, but it is difficult to make out what was said.

He did, though, look flustered and responded with a laugh as he turned away from Ronaldo, who continued to warm up.

He then laughed, put him thumb up, and said: 'You are the best, bro. You are the best,' before Ronaldo responded with a thumb up and smile of his own.

Al-Nassr are fourth in the Saudi Pro League - 10 points off Al-Ittihad in first and ahead on only goals scored of Al-Ahli in fifth.
