Table Results

The Champion

Bayern Munich finally got over the line with two games to spare, claiming their 33rd Bundesliga title. Their lead over dethroned champions Bayer Leverkusen is nine going into the final day.

Champions League qualification

The Bundesliga's top four finishers are all guaranteed Champions League football next season.

Bayern secured their spot on Matchday 27, with Leverkusen following suit on Matchday 29.

Frankfurt beat Freiburg to confrim the UCL place, leaving Freiburg outside the Champions League places in fifth.

Dortmund finished in the last round to gain the spot. A comprehensive final-day win secures UEFA Champions League football next season for the Black and Yellows to cap a superb late-season surge under Niko Kovac.

Europa League

Only the fifth-placed side in the Bundesliga has a guaranteed spot in the Europa League's league phase.

Another spot will go to the winner of the DFB Cup, either VfB Stuttgart or Arminia Bielefeld of the 3. Liga, with neither finalist able to finish in the Bundesliga's top six.

Freiburg, who were beaten by their direct competitor Frankfurt at home, are going to play in the Europa League next season.

UEFA Conference League play-offs

The team that finishes sixth qualifies for the Conference League play-offs.
Mainz 05 finished 6th on the table, they are the one to be showing up in the Conference League 2025/26.

Automatic relegation

Holstein Kiel and Bochum were both relegated on Matchday 33.

Although Hoffenheim were thrashed a four goals defeat by Bayern, the other side, 1. FC Heidenheim, proved that they are still the worse one to suffer the relegation pain.

GOAL:

Bayern Munich's Harry Kane tops Bundesliga scoring charts for second straight season

Kane finished the season with a well-taken strike off the bench in Bayern's 4-0 win at Hoffenheim. The 31-year-old, who averaged a goal every 94 minutes across his 31 top-flight appearances - adding to his 36 efforts in 32 games last term -  is the seventh different Bundesliga player to claim successive top scorer's prizes.

Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) and Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund) were Kane's nearest challenges with 21 goals each, followed by Borussia Mönchengladbach's Tim Kleindienst (16 goals).

Kane missed just four league games in 2024/25, scoring two or more goals in six different matches as Bayern wrestled back the title from Leverkusen with two games to spare. He also struck 11 times during the Bavarian club's run to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and once in the DFB Cup.

All told, Kane now has 82 goals in 92 competitive games for Bayern, including 62 in 63 Bundesliga outings. The England captain can be expected to add to his tally when the 33-time Bundesliga champions travel to the USA in June for the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, before embarking on his third full season in German football. He has a contract with the German giants through to 30 June 2027.

Freiburg end in the 5th place on the table, eligible for the European League. It seems like a pretty good achievement, but their Goal difference is Minus 4 (-4).
