Camavinga destined for PSG: Will not renew Rennes contract

Eduardo Camavinga's time at Rennes looks to be over after the youngster reportedly told the club he doesn't intend to renew his contact.

The 18-year-old French midfielder is coveted by many of Europe's top clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, with his contract coming to an end in June 2022.

According to RMC, Camavinga has told Rennes he will extend his current deal, and that he has already decided on a move to PSG next season.

It is also reported that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoken to his Rennes counterpart Nicolas Holveck in order to broker a deal for Camavinga, though no official offer has been made.

"If he [Camavinga] doesn't renew, we will have to consider an exit for him," Holveck said on Monday. "But the best thing for all is that he stays [at Rennes], and we want to find the best solution for him and for the club."

Rennes clearly don't want to have Camavinga leave the club on a free transfer in a year, and a value of 100 million euros has already been placed on his head.
