ACTORS are pulling on the Three Lions shirt to play England football stars for a new BBC drama TV series.
But can you work out which England footballers these actors are being portrayed in our exclusive photos?
The broadcaster is producing the series as an adaptation of the award-winning play Dear England.
The show will be made up of four parts and will follow former England boss Gareth Southgate as he attempts to end the nation's wait for a major trophy.
BBC will air the series in 2026 as it is currently being filmed in the south of England.
Some scenes have already been filmed, including one of Southgate's darkest days in charge of the team.
Actors pulled on the famous kit to re-enact England's 4-0 hammering at the hands of Hungary in June 2014.
The loss was the Three Lions' biggest defeat on home soil since 1928 as they left Wolves' Molineux Stadium with a whimper.
Pictures have shown the England team in action with their actor doubles taking to the pitch.
And some of the players didn't quite manage to capture the full look of the originals.

Southgate is being be played by Olivier Award-nominated actor Joseph Fiennes - who does a great job in capturing the former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace star's resemblance.
However the same could not be said for some of the actors out on the turf.

Gareth Southgate
Southgate is played by Olivier Award-nominated actor Joseph Fiennes.
The Enemy at the Gates star also portrayed the manager during the stage show that inspired the series.
Harry Kane
Harry Kane will be played by Will Antenbring, who was pictured wearing the no9 shirt.
The actor has a passing resemblance to the Bayern Munich striker, albeit with a slighter frame.
Kyle Walker
Kyle Walker's actor has a much closer resemblance to him than that of Kane.
The actor could be seen wearing the former Manchester City star's no2 shirt.
Harry Maguire
Actor Adam Hugill is playing Harry Maguire and has a near-perfect hairstyle for the role.
The actor was pictured with a remarkably similar movement style to the Manchester United star.
Kieran Trippier
Kieran Trippier was also portrayed on the pitch during filming.
Bizarrely, the Newcastle defender was seen wearing a purple durag while playing.
Southgate's England career
Southgate, 54, took charge of the team back in 2016 and led the team to two Euros finals during his eight-year stint.
Under his guidance, the team came the closest they have come since 1966 to lifting a trophy, having lost to Italy on penalties in 2020 and Spain in extra time in 2024.
England also reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2018 before being beaten by Croatia and the quarter-finals of the tournament in 2022.
Following the defeat to the Spanish, he decided to step down from his position and was subsequently replaced by German manager Thomas Tuchel.
