In an interview with The Sun, Italian coach Capello talked about the prospects of the Norwegian team in this summer's World Cup.

He said that the strength of the Norwegian team should not be underestimated, and they are expected to become a "dark horse" in the World Cup.
Capello said: "Norway is quite strong, and I think they are a very interesting team. Their number one star, Haaland, is a very powerful striker, and I believe they will surprise everyone. Many people may ignore Norway when discussing favorites, but I don't think so at all. Norway has good players in every position, and many players play in the top five leagues. Their overall performance is very good, and their tactical literacy is also very high. I think they may cause some upsets in this summer's World Cup."
The Norwegian team was placed in Group I for this summer's World Cup, along with France, Senegal, and the qualifying team from Group 2 of the intercontinental play-offs.
