Former Juventus manager Fabio Capello discussed his old club's decision to sack Tudor in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, while also addressing the possibility of Spalletti taking charge of the Bianconeri.

Regarding Tudor's dismissal
"Tudor bore the consequences for everyone. At Juventus, an eight-match winless streak is unacceptable, but the blame doesn't rest solely with the coach. The fundamental issue was the club's insufficient trust in Tudor. This summer they considered several candidates, yet ultimately confirmed Igor (Tudor) and renewed his contract. Players sense and exploit such situations. The real question, however, is: was this team built by Tudor, or by others?" stated Capello.
"With Bremer, the team could just about hold together; without him, it collapsed. Igor likely paid the price for a transfer window operation that fell short of Juventus standards. A coach must elicit the best from his forwards; if they fail to score, he must ask himself why. Opportunities were squandered earlier, but in recent matches, Juventus have struggled to create chances."
Is Spalletti the right choice?
"He's a valuable, experienced coach who has led major clubs to success. After the disappointment with the Italian national team, he'll be driven by a strong desire for redemption. What better way to restart than with a prestigious club like Juventus? Spalletti possesses the right charisma to galvanise Juventus in difficult times. The most positive aspect, conversely, is the league position: Juventus trail leaders Napoli and Roma by just six points. Palladino? He performed well at Monza and Fiorentina, but Juventus represent a higher-level challenge."
Where should Juventus begin their rebuild?
"Begin with Yildiz and rediscover the strikers' scoring prowess. Yet Juventus lacks a superstar like Yamal who can score single-handedly; forwards require creators to set them up – even Haaland needs support. They need midfielders to supply passes and quality players to assist Vlahovic, David and Openda in finding the net.
