Casemiro: If there's one team who can turn this around, it's Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro spoke to the cameras at the end of Real Madrid's defeat to Manchester City (1-2) in the Champions League last-16 first-leg at the Bernabeu.

Is the tie over?

The tie? No. If there's one team capable to turning this around it's Real Madrid But I think what's important is that we played really well for 75 minutes, against a great side, and for 15 minutes we didn't do what we had to. And they came back to win. It's not over, but there's a lot of work ahead.

How can you explain what happened?

The explanation is obvious. We did 75 minute really well and then we didn't have any intensity, we lost control of the game, we sat back and they are a great rival, they attacked twice and scored. There's no excuse. At the weekend we've got a tough game against Barcelona. We need to start thinking about that.

How will this defeat affect you in the Clasico?

The City game is in the past. We need to think about Barcelona. Rest. There's a tough game coming up. We made mistakes we shouldn't have made, we can't make those mistakes in the future. That was 15 minutes where we didn't do things right.

Ramos complained about the equaliser. He said Jesus pushed him.

VAR is there for that, if it didn't see it, we can't say anything. He says he felt a push... but that's what VAR's for, to help football.

How does Real Madrid turn this around?

First, we have to focus on Barcelona. We know it will be tough in England. But we need to think about Barcelona.
