Iker Casillas was like many of us on Wednesday night, as the former Real Madrid goalkeeper sat at home and found himself blown away by Karim Benzema's latest standout performance in the Champions League.
The former club captain enjoyed the 34-year-old's performance more than most and paid homage to his former teammate in humorous fashion.
"K9 is Spiderman," Casillas' tweet began. "K9 is Wolverine.K9 is that doorman on the building. K9 is your best friend. K9 is your grandmother. K9 is the President of the United States. K9 is the guide that you parachute with. K9 is your guardian angel. K9 is God!"
Casillas' tweet came to an end, likely because he had nobody else to compare Benzema to. The Frenchman is continuing to astound the football world.
