Antonio Cassano praised Como and Fàbregas after Como's 9-1 away victory over Lens in the fourth round of the Champions League group stage yesterday.
"Whenever someone says Como spent 200, 300, 400 million... when Fàbregas took charge of Como, the team was worth just €1.50. Now the whole world is talking about them, and all the credit goes to Fàbregas. I hope he leaves Italy. With his coaching style, the way he speaks and his demeanor, Italy doesn't deserve him. He is creating a masterpiece."
"He is destined to coach Barcelona or Arsenal, and he can coach anywhere he wants. He makes things clear, helps you take your game to another level and brings out your potential. Como's playing style works entirely thanks to Fàbregas. When he decides to leave Como, I think it will be like Atalanta losing Gasperini."
